Description
Baan Laimai can't decide if it's a restaurant, hotel, shopping centre or trinket shop. The rooms are clean though a bit frayed around the edges, and according to the bellboy, the nightly live music keeps all in the front building awake till 01:00, so be sure to insist on a room out back. It is somewhat overpriced, and while the sundeck area around the pool is great, the pool itself is kinda small. Overall we found Baan Laimai to be better value than the nearby Patong Merlin -- with bigger, nicer rooms with balconies and views -- all for less money. Rates below do not include taxes and surcharges but do include breakfast.
