Description
Not too far from the beach, Salathai is a charming little resort with only 40 rooms. There's a Thai theme throughout the property but it's understated and tasteful. Although they're clean and well-appointed, the rooms here won't knock your socks off. The suites are large but were missing some of the touches you'd expect in this price range like a spa tub in the bathroom, LCD TV, or a more striking interior design. The freeform swimming pool is one of the resort's best features, plus there's an outdoor Jacuzzi. The rates seem high for what you get but, that's Patong for you.
