A tasteful boutique hotel
Phuket is so big, we've split it up into areas, select one of the below for detailed accommodation and food listings in that area. Sights and general overviews for Phuket as a whole can be found via the icons above. Don't know where to start? Read an overview of Phuket's different areas.
A mid-sized boutique hotel with 47 rooms, the Patong Premier Resort is a chic spot that's as suited to romantic getaways as family vacations.
The compact resort is heavy on the Angkorian carvings, dark woods and silks, but it's done in a reasonably tasteful way and you are, after all, in Southeast Asia. The rooms are spacious and spotless with satellite TV, in-room safes, minibars and air-con, plus a sofa or desk. The deluxe rooms also have a tub in the bathroom and, for even more, you can get a room beside the lovely Balinese swimming pool. It’s an older hotel but on our visit in June 2015 it appears to have recently been renovated. The price is certainly right during low season and compared to many other hotels’ rates in high season, it’s an affordable option. Breakfast and WiFi are included, but we were told by the staff the internet signal is not good in the rooms.
