Feels like home

Offering fully kitted out apartments, the 44-unit Swiss Palm Beach is shockingly good value for money, especially as it's spitting distance from the beach.
Families will feel right at home in big apartments with living rooms, full kitchen facilities, dining rooms, and bedrooms with individual air-con. There are a couple of one-bedroom units, but most of the apartments have one master bedroom plus one kids' room with two single beds. The deluxe rooms have slightly nicer furniture, a stereo, and an additional TV, but there's really no point in upgrading when the enticing pool outside and the beach just steps away. The location is in a quiet spot set back from the road, so the vibe is perfect for a low-key family holiday. There's a good pool with a small swim-up bar, a restaurant, and on-site tour booking, library in the lobby, laundry, and car rental services. Friendly and professional, the Swiss Palm Beach gets a lot of repeat customers and long stays, so you'll want to book ahead. Even so, in low season we were given walk-in rates 500 baht cheaper than the listed rates below. It’s a bit of a distance from the action, but in the case of Patong, that's a good thing. Recommended.
