What we say:

Only a short walk from the On On Hotel, the Pengman is a lot harder to find. There is a small English-language sign but it's easy to miss. You're better off looking for the yellow Chinese noodle restaurant, which doubles as reception. The restaurant is a busy one so the staff won't be too quick to give you a key to show yourself a room. Rooms are upstairs and contain a firm double bed, creaky ceiling fan and nothing more. Be sure to get a room with a window — they're all the same price. Rooms share bathrooms with bucket showers and squat toilets. If you are looking for somewhere cheap, you’ve found it.
