One of the flashier places in Phuket town, the 19-storey Royal Phuket City has over 250 luxurious rooms and full business facilities. Located just across from the bus terminal, it's one of the few places downtown with a pool, plus there's a fitness centre, two restaurants, and a spa. Rooms are a standard four-star affair with cable TV, air-con, in-room safes, mini-bars, and comfortable furniture. You may never get out of bed — they are massive with feather pillows and thick white down comforters. There was no visible difference between the standard and superior but the pricier suites are more than double the size. WiFi is 200B per day. This hotel is a popular choice with international air crews and won't disappoint with high standards. If you don’t end up staying at the Royal Phuket City — visit their bakery after 20:30 as all daily baked goods are 50% off.
