Summer Hotel

Bright and cheerful

Cheap and cheerful, the Summer Hotel has a decent selection of fan and air-con rooms. The location is pretty out of the way, but the local area is interesting and has any service or shop you might need. The rooms are very comfortable and clean for the price, and even the fan-only ones come with TVs. Their air-con rooms are the cheapest we found in all of Phuket Town and also have hot water showers. All rooms have attached western-style bathrooms. There's a good little restaurant downstairs with a photo menu and rock-bottom prices. Discounted rates are given for past-midnight arrivals so you can save a few more baht if you're on a late arriving flight. Add 100B to all rates during Thai public holidays.

Summer Hotel reviews

OK - 9th August, 2009
The hotel is very rundown. It seems deserted and has a ''ghost town'' feeling. It was the cheapest, which was exactly what we were looking for. We had a double room, A/C, private bathroom (all rooms have it), hot shower, TV, for 350B! The location is not ideal... it's quite far from everything so you have to take tuk tuks or very long walks to get around. If you want to spend more than a night or two in Phuket town, I would recommend looking for a nicer place where you will pay a bit more, but would have something a lot nicer. But if your plan is just to sleep there for a night, then go for it.
