Description
If you're after a reliable up-market hotel the Merlin is a fine choice. They have a big swimming pool, coffee shop, Chinese banquet restaurant, spa, and a few bars that are popular with Asian tourists. The rooms are clean and fully equipped, although the few extra square meters you get with a deluxe room isn't worth the bump up in price. The suites are huge with a separate living room area and have some panoramic city views. The staff are very professional and a free shuttle bus runs to the Merlin Hotel in Patong. Rates do not include taxes and surcharges.
