This place wasn’t busting at the seams at the time of research, but it had no reason not to be. Near the clock roundabout in downtown Phuket town, Joe Mansion has air-con rooms with all the comforts of home. In fact, if you'd like to make it your home for a month or more, they offer steeply discounted long-term rates. Some rooms are more spacious than others, but all have a fridge, cable TV, and an attached bathroom with a hot shower. All rooms have brand new apartment-style furniture and include free WiFi. The standard and VIP rooms have identical amenities though the VIP rooms are ginormous. The hallways and lobby lack character but the friendly staff make up for it. The daily rate is all-inclusive but if you're paying by the month there'll be a separate water and electricity bill (they're minimal). Pick a room at the front as they get much more sun. While they're also closer to the street, Phuket Town never seems to get too wild at night. While the street address is Phuket Rd, Joe Mansion faces onto Montri Rd as well and is easily approached from there.
