What we say:

Located down a local soi with many streetfood options at its doorstep, the Sunwest was built in 2009 and has everything covered. This is one of the closest guesthouses to the bus terminal and was bustling at the time of research. Private air-con or fan rooms are available as are dorms. Dorm rooms are large and have 10 squeaky beds with shared facilities whereas the privates have firm beds with en suite bathrooms. Bathrooms are starting to get a bit grotty but are by no means dirty. The rooms at the front receive the most sun and have artistic touches inside. Sunwest also has a kitchen to use for free, a big TV and free computers and WiFi. The owner rents motorbikes and offers tour services. The Sunwest definitely isn't the most character-packed hotel in town, but the dorm rooms are a clean and cheap option if you want to be near the bus station or walking distance to the night market.
