What we say:

Immaculately modern Lub Sbuy is a big step up from your typical bus station guesthouse. Private rooms are huge with one queen or two single beds plus TV, mini-fridge, safe, and ensuite rain shower — ground level rooms even have an enclosed terrace into the back lane. For solo travelers, the 10-bed mixed dorm is comparably clean and spacious, but without the air-con. WiFi is fast and free for all guests, and there are guest computers (40B/hr) in the lobby along with a drinks corner and small library. Lub Sbuy’s location is ideal for early morning bus departures and cheap street food, but 15 minute walk to the historic Old Town area. Staff were efficient and kids are welcome — no additional charge for children under 12 sharing a private room. Check the discount hotel websites to save a few hundred baht from published rates.
