Phuket Town Inn

A comfortable spot

Previously known as the City Hotel, the Phuket Town Inn won't wow you but is otherwise a good mid-range choice. The rooms are comfortable and it's the same price for one double or two twin beds. All rooms are air-con and have the standard fixtures like mini-bars, TVs, and bathrooms with tubs and showers. This place is popular with Thai package tourists and there's a karaoke bar and cocktail lounge downstairs. The location is good and it's an easy walk to most points of interest in town. Add 200B to the room price on Thai public holidays and/or another 200B for an Asian breakfast.

* Travelfish researchers visit and review properties on an anonymous basis. By that we mean they show up, in person, and pretend to be either be a potential guest, or somebody looking for a room for a friend or relative. Where possible the researcher will inspect at least a couple of rooms. The rates you see above are what either the desk staff told us they were, or what were in the brochure when they just told us to quit bugging them and look in the brochure.
