Mai's Guesthouse
Massive and bright rooms

What we say:
If you get into Phuket late and are looking to take a boat early from Rawai the next day, Mai's is your best choice. Located at the northern end of Rawai on the main road from Ao Chalong and just steps from the beach, Mai's is impeccably clean with friendly staff. Built in 2010, the guesthouse is really a townhouse among other similar properties along the road. All four rooms are fitted with WiFi, fridge, massive comfortable beds and air-con. We weren't able to see the large room but the standards were gigantic. A coffee shop is on the ground floor and a nice outside patio lets you hang outside. If you don't want to go far for good local food, the best papaya salad stall in Rawai awaits you right out front. Recommended but call ahead to reserve.
