Description
The Siam Phuket Resort tries to pass itself off as a high-class place, but it isn't fooling anyone. The brochure's claim that it was voted Best Local Company 1995 really didn't swing the deal for us. For the price, the rooms are a let-down and you'll need to upgrade to a superior to even get a mini-bar or TV (that only has local channels). The poolside rooms are a step up from the rest, but at a sacrifice of your privacy. The pool is surprisingly decent and there's an outdoor garden restaurant beside it. The already overly high room rates do not include breakfast and, during the high season, prices are further subject to taxes and service charges.
