This spacious guesthouse has grown since our last visit -- they now have 54 rooms and have installed an elevator. The rooms are tidy and well-appointed with air-con, TV,mini-bar, and an individual balcony. The family rooms are excellent and have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two balconies, and a common room with a sofa and TV. You can see Surin Beach from the balconies on the higher floors -- a perfect spot for watching the sunset. It's a ten minute walk to the beach itself, but prices here are much more reasonable than on the beach road and there's lots of cheap food nearby. Rates include taxes and breakfast for two.It is easy to find with a large sign out the front.

* Travelfish researchers visit and review properties on an anonymous basis. By that we mean they show up, in person, and pretend to be either be a potential guest, or somebody looking for a room for a friend or relative. Where possible the researcher will inspect at least a couple of rooms. The rates you see above are what either the desk staff told us they were, or what were in the brochure when they just told us to quit bugging them and look in the brochure.
