Baan Chom Tawan
One of the best budget options

What we say:
For the extra space above a minimart-cum-tour desk-cum-massage parlour, the rooms at Baan Chom Tawan are much better than you would imagine. In fact, with newly tiled floors, bed-side reading lamps, and richly-coloured hardwood furniture, the rooms are downright stylish. Furthermore, each room is air-con and has a TV and minifridge. The black and white bathrooms are very contemporary and the more expensive rooms have large bathtubs. Rates don't include breakfast but guests have access to free coffee and tea all day along. When you crunch the numbers, this is one of the best budget spots in Surin, plus there's the added convenience of all that one-stop shopping downstairs.
