Siripong Guesthouse
Very decent value

What we say:
The Siripong, located at that southern end of the beach, is one of the most convenient places to stay, near a small restaurant and Thai-style 'convenience store.' It's a hotel-style place, right on the road, so you won't have to hike over hill and dale to get to the beach. The building is airy and cool, and the rooms are a very decent value. Unless you have your heart set on a bungalow, this is a very good choice. The single with fan is great value, but there's only one of them!

great location, cheap
I stayed there one night, to break the long journey from Khao Sok N.P. to Bangkok. I got a single room with shared bathroom, THB150. The guesthouse is in front of the beach. There´s a cafe/restaurant, Boon, owned by Boon, a very friendly Thai woman that speaks good English. The beach itself is not that great, but it´s ok for one day. The guesthouse seemd to be empty, and I left the key with Boon when I checked out because there was nobody there.
