Na Na Chart Ban Kruit (YHA)
Members get the best deals

What we say:
A bit isolated, just north of the wat on the hill, the spacious grounds are filled with housing options from cheap to ritzy, though members get the best deals. It feels a little bit like a summer camp for rich kids, but anyone can stay here. The idea is to offer a facility for conferences and package tours, while providing options for families and individual travellers. This is a good place to get access to outdoor activities such as snorkelling, swimming, canoeing, mountain biking, and they even have a camp ground in the area, near the Kaon water falls. The hostel also features the world's smallest swimming pool. The attractive beach front bungalows are pricey for the size, but they are the only ones in Ban Krut that are right smack on the beach, and becoming a member will save you money if you stay more than one night.

Isolated and expensive
The place is way in the middle of nowhere but has a very nice private stretch of beach. But it is not a youth hostel at all; the name is only a clever marketing trick. They have a English-speaking and friendly tout working for them who chats up EVERY foreigner in ban krut; so watch out for a woman on a motorcycle! The private bungalows are way overpriced but nice; one needs at least a bicycle to get around; staying at main ban-krut beach is better for both food and accommodation.
