Not overflowing with atmosphere
Next to Lola Bungalows, Bang Saphan
Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

Description
If the Lola is full, there are nine, rickety, bamboo bungalows next door. They aren't very comfortable to move around in, and the place doesn't have a lot of atmosphere. Stay here while waiting for something to open up at the Lola, or head north to one of the other bungalow outfits.

Lola Bungalows
89/2 M. 1 Suan Luang Rd., just north of the Coral Hotel, Bang Saphan
A mere stone's throw from the Coral Hotel, Lola Bungalows is the premiere destination for a whole different clientele. The small, inexpensive bungalows with squat toilets all face the water. It's the place to be if you just want to swing in a hammock all day, and enjoy the simple life. Evenings... more

Suanluang Resort
13 Moo 1, Bang Saphan (on the road to the Coral Hotel)
One of the off-the-beach resorts, this friendly and efficiently run enterprise has comfortable, spotlessly clean bungalows in a garden setting and a good Thai-French restaurant. The bungalows are made of wood and well ventilated with high ceilings, a nice front porch, and a certain je ne sais quoi... more

Wa Ree Bungalows
Just down the road from Lola, Bang Saphan
Just down the road from the Lola, the Wa Ree offers a similar experience, but the bunglows are concerete, not wood. They aren't quite as charming, but they more than make up for it by being wonderfully cool all day long. The line of bunglows is perpendicular to the beach, so the you'll have to look... more

Dang Bungalows
On the beach, 1km north of the Wa Ree, Bang Saphan
If you really want to get away from the people who are getting away from it all, even further north along the beach, you'll find Dang Bungalows, sitting all by itself. The bungalows are very similar to the ones at the Wa... more
