Description
This is the launching-off point for tours of Ko Thalu -- the owner here exclusively owns the concession for tours to the island. There are nice but pricey bungalows on the beach, with an associated restaurant, and even nicer, even pricier bungalows on the island itself. The latter provide one of the purest experiences of unadulterated island living available in Thailand, but you'll need a high threshold for inactivity to stay there. After you've snorkelled around for a bit, and maybe gone for a jaunt in a kayak, there is absolutely nothing to do on the island but lay around and eat at the Thai-Chinese restaurant.

Deluxe bungalow
4,000 THB (low season) 4,000 THB (high season)
On Ko Thalu
Beachfront bungalow
1,200 THB (low season) 1,200 THB (high season)
