New Beach Guest House
Good and clean

What we say:
The New Beach Guest House is at the far end of the lane packed with guest houses. The exterior has been designed to remind guests of a modern, relaxed taverna feel. The staff here don't speak English very well and communication for all but the basics is quite difficult. The staff don't seem over eager to help and would much prefer sitting and gossiping, however, the rooms are all clean, all with their own balconies. They all come with TV, air-con, fridge and hot water. It's a good, reasonably priced choice. Families are welcome, but might be better suited to other hotels along this lane.

Good location & value
We stayed for 3 nights for 800B/night. Only about a block to the beach; located on a small side street with many guesthouses and places to eat. It was quiet. Room was large, had nice balcony, big bathroom and very clean. Most staff did not speak English so not helpful. We did not eat in the restaurant. Within walking distance of major shopping mall and the night market.
