Dolphin Bay is one of those little gems which crop up on the accommodation scene. It is located in an isolated spot and is right on the beach front. This very pleasant, family-orientated resort has tasteful gardens and a large lawn area, huge restaurant and very friendly staff. Under European management, it is popular with expats living in Bangkok and is particularly popular with Brits. To get to the resort you can catch a bus or train to Pranburi and get a taxi or songtheaw to the resort. Pick-ups can be arranged with prior notice by the resort staff. The resort has two pools, one more suited for kids. There are 24 duplex bungalows and 25 rooms on the first floor above the restaurant. All rooms are air-con with hot water bathrooms, TV and fridge.The resort also has some apartments for rent suitable for longer stays. The beach front location, stunning gardens and family atmosphere make this highly recommended.
