Sea Eagle Resort
Isolated and as laid back as it gets

What we say:
Take one step in to Sea Eagle's open air "lobby" lounge area, hear the reggae music from a little radio and be greeted by the resort's shirtless owner wearing a Bob Marley bandana on his head, and you'll know this is one laid back joint. Colorful bamboo bungalows come in a couple different sizes and are priced according to their proximity to Sea Eagle's private, isolated beach some 2.5 kim north of Long Beach. The isolation can be a positive thing if you want to really get away from it all, and Sea Eagle's is a relatively large beach with a volleyball net and kayaks available. The small staff seem to do a good job of taking care of guests in their own chilled out style. Bungalows are basic — open air bathroom and very hard bed on a raised platform — but they do have some funky green and purple paint jobs along with sizeable front porches for relaxing.
