What we say:

Owned by the same folks as Rattana Resort back in Ranong, Rattana Bungalow is a recent addition to Ko Chang that offers quiet wood and bamboo bungalows set on a wooded hillside between Sea Eagle and Hornbill resorts. The place has sort of a camping out feel — somewhat rugged dirt paths are all that connect well spaced out bungalows to the small raised open air restaurant. Bungalows come in two sizes — some are made from wood and others stone and bamboo — but all are basic with cold water bathrooms with sinks and foamy mattresses that are soft by Ko Chang Noi standards. It's a short walk over to Sea Eagle beach and the couple who runs the place, though not able to speak English all that well, are very sincerre and take care of their guests as though they were family.
