Located at Long Beach's rocky pinch, Koh Chang Resort offers a range of services along with some unique bungaows on stilts above the rocks that hover above the water at high tide. While the small wood cabins set back on a hill have seen better days, the better stilted rooms come in a few different sizes and if you've got a group these are possibly the island's best option, especially the large circular room that sleeps 4-6 and has a wide porch that stretches around the front of the structure. Inside the rooms are basic with private bathrooms and firm beds. The resort has a private pier, making it the easiest spot from which to catch a boat to Ko Phayam or the mainland. There's only a very rocky beach during low tide, but Long Beach is just a short stroll down a wooded path to either side of Long Beach.
