What we say:

Smile Huts is popular mainly because it's widely advertised and because it's the first place you trip over when you arrive on the beach. The bamboo bungalows are basic, very close together and overpriced for what you get. It's very conveniently located and central but there are better places to stay on this beach unless easy road access is a top priority. Price depends on proximity to the beach and the size of the room (the cheapest ones are very small). Discounts may be available for stays of over one week. Our tip? Keep on walking to check what else is available first.
