What we say:

This is the other posh resort on Ao Kwai. It boasts a decent sized swimming pool (the best one on Ko Phayam) to compensate for the lack of sea when the tide is out, but the rooms themselves are a lot more expensive and less well-equipped than those at Buffalo Bay Vacation Club. Choose from both fan and air-con rooms, but none have hot water showers. The cheaper rooms don't have safes and none of the rooms have a fridge or a DVD player. For some reason they've put the most expensive family rooms right at the back, furthest from the beach and nearest the huge and quite noisy generator that provides the round-the-clock electricity. Other facilities here include free WiFi, a good play area for children with swings, slides and roundabouts and an outdoor gym, together with the island's one and only jet ski (which is very rarely used and may be gone by next season). The place usually looks pretty devoid of guests but it occasionally fills up with groups of Thai tourists on package tours.
