A grand old building, rooms at Sintavee are slightly better than the other options close to the market, but noise from the street is a problem if you get one of the rooms at the front. The downstairs lobby has walls filled with interesting tidbits about activities around Ranong.

Basic but clean rooms
Room I stayed in was clean but basic. Cheap place.

Central and cheap - 6th November, 2008
The old smelly is the second name of the place; but as said before it is central, clean and cheap. Prices have gone up since 07/2008; add 40B to all room prices.

Straightforward
Old building kept up well, no hassles, cheap and central to downtown.

Rotten place - 26th October, 2009
At 200 Baht for a single fan bedroom, this room is surely overpriced - the room I stayed in had an odd smell, and the shower was bad. Unlike other ancient Thai hotels, the room was not spacious. What an awful place.
