What we say:

Directly across the street from Rim Than Resort is Baan Bunga, and the two offer very similar amenities, atmosphere and prices. Although Baan Bunga lacks the riverside setting of Rim Than, it occupies an equally pleasant hillside area that's surrounded by lush tropical flowers and trees. The stone walkways and pagoda style buildings are reminiscent of a Korean monastery. Inside the longhouse style buildings, rooms are brighter and a little bigger than at Rim Than, and all are simply decorated with white tile floors, light blue ceilings and walls, and decent balconies with benches facing down the hill towards the river. All come with air-con, basic hot water bathrooms, TVs, fridges and small tables. On the down side, a couple of the rooms we saw were on the musty side, some of the walls have unsightly scuff and dirt marks, and beds are not too comfortable. Still, they are worth the money, especially considering WiFi is free. The resort also rents out motorbikes for 250B per day.
