What we say:

Pooh's is a little slice of civilisation, but you pay for it. Immensely popular with the must-reserve-online-before-we-arrive set, Pooh's has a less than appealing location -- a good hike to any of the beaches. Their rooms were recently renovated and now all have air-con. While they are comfortable, the price is a little high considering what you get for the same money at Serene, Harmony and the Reef. Still, Pooh's is well known on Lipe for maintaining the offbeat, hospitable environment many tourists have come to expect when staying in other parts of Thailand. Pooh's is also one of Lipe's foremost eco-friendly businesses, and you can refill plastic water bottles (10 baht) here. There's also free WiFi, and the restaurant is one of Lipe's most happening spots for dinner and a drink. Visa and Mastercard are accepted for a 3% fee, and guests get a 15% discount with Lotus Divers.
