Description
Mountain Resort is built on the hill at the end eastern end of Sunset Beach. Bungalows are large and have been built of high-quality materials, perhaps to enhance their appeal, as they're a ten-minute hike up from the beach. This is one of the few places with 24 hour electricity and most bungalows are air-con. The superior bungalows are as luxurious as you can get on rustic Ko Lipe, and have hot water, satellite TV, a bath tub, a private deck, and spectacular views of the bay. They're certainly worth the splurge if you can afford it. The food from the restaurant, particularly the barbequed fish, is excellent but the racket from passing longtails can disrupt conversation. Credit cards are accepted for a 5% fee.
