What we say:

If you're not saving your baht to blow on the islands, these smart bungalows are the best that Pakbara has to offer. There are some smaller, darker rooms up front along the driveway, but the better ones are clustered around a small lagoon in the back. These have big windows to let the sunlight stream inside and comfortable beds with soft linens. All rooms have air-con and are cool and clean with tile floors,large modern bathrooms and an individual porch with seating. If you're looking for a bungalow with some creature comforts, The Best House is the only place in town with hot-water showers and TVs with an English movie channel. Go elsewhere for dinner though -- food from the accompanying Best Kitchen was bland and overpriced.
