Sakol Hotel
A good deal for the money

What we say:
Not too far from Hat Yai's shopping district, the Sakol recently refurbished, though it appears more money was spent on the foyer and carpet than the individual rooms. Chatty and friendly staff keep the rooms spotless, and for the money, the Sakol is quite a good deal. The rooms all have tv, aircon and hot water bathrooms, but have no bathtubs.

clean but extra charges .....
Nice clean hotel. relatively new. comfortable bed and quite roomy. The standard rooms comes with TV, countless number of channels, dozens dozens of them. A mini fridge stashed with drinks. Even have a electric thumbler. But the MIlo and instant nescafe are not free. They are at extra charges. This is the first time I came into a hotel that charges the instant cafe as welcome drink?? A shame. Location is within minutes to city centre, excellent. Parking at ground floor is limited, but we came on motorcycles and did not take up so much space, thus our bikes are allowed in. Price was 680bh as stated above. AA
