What we say:

The New World Hotel is quite close to the train station and while it looks passable from outside, the corridors and rooms are very musty and the street-side rooms get significant traffic noise. Rooms have tv, air-con and hot water bathrooms, which, for the money is not a bad deal, but overall the New World is a bit of a charmless option. Better options for just a few more baht are available elsewhere.

New owner, new name

The hotel has a new name Tune hotel everything is new and cleanl, however, without fridge and very soberly (practically). Price now 950 THB
