great location, poor rooms
What we say: 
The Yong Dee is set smack in the heart of Hat Yai's shopping district, making this a hit amongst shopaholics. While the hotel has a bright and icy-cold foyer with friendly desk staff, the rooms are not even luke warm. Old and rather banged up bathrooms are not great and the mattress in the room we saw really needed to be replaced. Nevertheless if you are just in Hat Yai to eat and shop, this is just about as central as you can get.
