Located on the rocky cliff above Laem Jo Po Ro between Mae Haad and Haad Sairee, View Cliff does not just have a clever name. Most bungalows here have a great view of the sea, and they range in price and amenities from budget to luxury. Rooms in the main building as well as an assortment of spacious private bungalows are very clean and well-kept with fresh, soft bedding. Some rooms offer satellite TV and minibars as well. DVD players, motorbikes and snorkel equipment are available for rental at the reception desk, and View Cliff provides free taxi service to the Mae Haad pier. The simple little restaurant here serves the standard Thai and Western options. They also have an on-site travel agency, mini mart, internet cafe and a volleyball court. There is something in this friendly, quiet spot for everyone. View Cliff has also started a second operation near the original with very large apartment-style rooms with equally-spectacular sea views designed for luxury travellers. Both operations share a central reception area.
