Sensi Paradise Beach Resort
A sprawling slice of paradise

What we say:
Sensi Paradise, located where Mae Haad beach meets the rocks at its southern end, offers a little slice of paradise for those travelling on a higher budget. Though it has a small selection of less expensive rooms, Sensi Paradise specialises in larger family-size houses and villas. The beautiful grounds of Sensi, one of Ko Tao's fanciest resorts, sprawl from the beach up a lush green hillside. A series of winding paths and stairways lead guests to their spotless, spacious accommodation. Sensi's restaurant sits at the intersection of beach and rocks and offers impressive sea views, though it is a bit overpriced. There are also plenty of sun chairs for sunbathing guests along the beach. Its many multi-room houses and villas make it the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a night of luxury after some hard travelling. For the full range of price categories see their website.

Unacceptable Noise Levels
Stayed here over Christmas 2010 - Our stay ruined by night long music blasting out of bars in the nearby Mae Haad Beach - (9pm to sunrise music that rattles the windows). I've spoken to the management, they tell me they have filed a police complaint, certainly they are themselves receiving complaints from their gusts. This is our third stay at Sensi Paradise, we have frequently recommended it to people as one of our own favourite spots in Thailand - We shall neither visit nor recommend Sensi Paradise again. The resort charges a high price for what is essentially a high quality environment - This is completely ruined by the night long noise. I shall not subject my family to this again - This is not the holiday or the environment we paid hard earned money for. If you like being kept awake all night by thumping music it might be your thing!

I love this place
Stayed here again for 4 days. The clean and well appointed rooms are built in traditional Thai style with lots of wood, and come with Mozzie net, fridge, mini save, and nice goodies like mozzy spray or wine for sale. We especially liked the big balcony with the outside bed and the view to the sea. Staff was friendly and helpful. The two level swimming pool is now complete - what a treat! Please note: Some rooms do not have A/C (don't need it ever in April because of the sea breeze), and only cold shower.

Highly recommended
I really like this place. Stayed in room 39 for 11 days. The room came with Mozzie net, fridge, mini save, and nice goodies like mozzy spray or wine for sale. We especially liked the big balcony with the outside bed. Big plus: The new swimming pool is gorgeous. Check it out! Please note: Some rooms do not have A/C (don't need it ever in April because of the sea breeze), and only cold shower.

A reason too visit Koh Tao...
Sensi Paradise is an excellent, environmental-friendly resort. The bungalows are very well built and maintained, in a wonderful garden on a hill. There's various sizes and types of accommodation available. At night you find yourself amidst the sounds of wildlife surrounding you. Gecko's and bullfrogs among many others ... all can be heard -- and seen! The restaurant area gives an excellent view of the bay ... lovely cloud and seascapes... During low-season very generous discounts were given to us. A resort like Sensi really adds something to the island of Ko Tao. Stayed there twice and would do again...(and again)!
