Jamahkiri Resort & Spa
The height of luxury

What we say:
Jamahkiri Resort and Spa claims to offer its guests nothing but the best of everything. The stunning grounds are sprawled along a rocky cliff overlooking the clear blue waters of An Thian Ok. Jamahkiri's architecture blends elegant Thai design and tropical flare with a modern twist. The large privately-located rooms provide utmost comfort and class. Jamahkiri's Benjarong restaurant is one of the better on the island, offering delicious meals to suit most tastes in a beautifully-decorated setting overlooking the sea. A new block opened in 2009 offers some simpler but still luxurious rooms at lower prices, and a top-notch penthouse suite. A large pool and sun deck, fitness centre and spa add to the very pricey splendour. Free transport to and from the pier and hourly rides to the city also sweeten the deal. If staying here is going to break the bank, you could consider a spa package for just a little taste; from 2,000 baht you can be pampered in style and relax by the pool in pristine luxury. Packages include free return taxi.

Ayesha ditched her power suit in favour of a wetsuit and ventured to Ko Tao to indulge in her passion for scuba diving. Apart from writing for Travelfish.org she manages the Master Divers Blog and whenever possible is underwater with her camera shooting fish!
