Rocky Resort
Mixed quality accommodation

What we say:
Rocky Resort, on the eastern end of Thian Ok Bay, offers a mixed bag of bungalow options. Their cheapest rooms, mostly lining the rocks just above the water, are quite shabby and some appear to have been abandoned altogether. Some of these rooms don't have mosquito nets and have adjoining balconies offering no privacy. Some are in better shape, and the newer deluxe rooms, surrounded by trees and colourful flowers, are a little larger and in better condition. Just about every room at Rocky Resort has a view of the beach and the bay. The staff here is very eager to please and offer inexpensive snorkel rentals (50B/day). The charming restaurant set on the water looks very classy and offers some great food but is easy on the budget. Rocky Resort remains a popular spot among backpackers and is the only budget option on the beach.
