Description
Oceanus has a very peaceful vibe with just a handful of large wooden bungalows nestled in a dense green garden separated from the beach by a sandy coconut grove. These lovely huts, all with ocean-themed names like Octopus and Grouper, are very well-kept and comfortable. The prices are a bit high, but package deals for long stays and diving with Chaloklum or Lotus Diving schools make the rates more reasonable. A large modern building, atop which sits the restaurant, is an unattractive touch, but the restaurant is quite good and has a lovely view of the sea and Ko Samui from its second-storey vantage point. This is a good place for families, with two-bedroom units available, and an easy place to spend several days.
