Description
Weangthai is a happening midrange setup with plenty to keep party people and more active travellers happy. With MTF PADI diver school (http://www.mtfdiving.com) offering certification and fun dives, this is the only dive resort in the area. Two pool tables, beach volleyball, a swimming pool and a mostly younger clientele make for a fun, party atmosphere -- don't stay here if you plan to relax. Basic old wooden huts are inexpensive but really quite crappy and it's amazing they haven't been knocked down to make room for more hotel-style rooms, the majority of Weangthai's offerings. These rooms are big, clean and nicely decorated with Thai wall hangings.
