Power Beach Resort
Closely packed

What we say:
Power Beach Resort is definitely popular and has a great pool just a coconut's throw away from the beach. The bungalows are good enough, ranging from basic island-style huts to round concrete affairs, but are as packed in as tightly as the bodies around the pool the day before a Full Moon Party. Recommended for socialites.

Power Lose Resort
There is free wifi everywhere, which is great if u have a laptop or an iphone. The bungalows are located just in front of the sea. It’s nice to sit and relax on the sand facing the sea. However you can’t swim because the water is not deep at all. You have to walk a while towards the sea in order to have your knees in the water… Usually the provided services are a little bit expensive. Hence I recommend you to walk to the main street where u will find cheaper shops, laundry service, internet cafe', restaurants, etc. We chose this bungalow because almost everything close to Full Moon Party was full and this one was not so far from the party. We booked 2 rooms on the website and everything was done and paid correctly (I verified my bank account transactions). We arrived on the first day with our printed voucher proving we did everything correctly. The crew didn’t have our booking so instead of our 2 rooms we had only one. They promised us that the day after we will have 2. On the second day they still don’t have 2 available ones and we have to sleep again in only one. We were 4 people stuck in one bungalow, it was really hot and we were suffocating. I asked the team if we can at least have an additional mattress. As usual they say “yeah yeah no problem” and finally they did nothing. For the last night the boss said that he wants to treat us and to upgrade our standard rooms to Dome Beach ones FOR FREE. When we checked out, we ask for a refund for the two first days (because they provided us only one room instead of two). The boss always acted as if he were our best friend and he suddenly showed his real face stating that he will restitute nothing because we slept in Dome Beach rooms on the last day. We were of course very upset because we asked nothing and he proposed to upgrade our rooms “for free”… We should have guessed he had something in mind... For sure we will never go back there!
