The most laid-back and quiet spot on Ban Tai beach and the cheapest, Lifestyle is a cool backpacker spot with a neo-island-hippy vibe. Very basic huts are available with private or shared bathrooms spread around the shady palm grove garden. The beach here is a little coarse, but there is plenty of shade available. These are small but charming bungalows hung with planters and adorned with paintings of flowers and tropical imagery. They are clean and most are in decent shape, though some are a bit dank, and some linens are more worn than others. For this price, though, it's hard to complain, and the atmosphere is great. A small elevated restaurant and bar sit on the beach serving up cold drinks and tasty treats in a chill setting with cool vibes and mellow tunes. Recommended for the truly laid-back traveller.
