One of the originals in this area, Green Peace is popular among penny pinching backpackers. It's a very peaceful and laid-back place with very cheap bungalows along a small rocky beach. The bungalows, available with or without a private bathroom, are cramped little wooden shacks, very worn and rickety, providing only a passable place to crash. Nonetheless, the place is often busy and attracts long-term and repeat guests. The atmosphere goes a long way here. Always a mellow and friendly place, Green Peace has an inexpensive restaurant with a designated chillout zone.

nice, clean bungalows on the beach
We, 2 friends of 29, stayed her for 3 nights to visit the half moon party. The bungalows are really nice and clean. The owner of the guesthouse is really friendly and helpfull.Food is nice. The distance to the half moon party is really good; closeby but not in the noise.

totally incorrect information
prices are wrong, email is wrong. travelfish needs to learn to update their site. rooms are 350 baht a night for fan, up to 1,500 for aircon rooms. the hotmail email address is not used so don't email it. the phone number listed is also totally wrong 66-77-238-436 Nice rooms, friendly owners close to full moon party without being in the middle of it.
