Phangan Beach Resort has some very handsome wooden bungalows and concrete duplexes set among a lovely landscaped garden and palm grove. Even the most basic rooms are spacious and comfortable and the better-equipped come with satellite TV and refrigerators, some sitting right on the beach. The restaurant, set in the middle of the garden has a classy feel but is reasonably priced and provides a relaxed atmosphere for enjoying its delicious Thai and western food. A flashpacker favourite.

A friendly spot for the Half moon party
We stayed here so that we could be close to the half moon party and it was a great idea. They got us a taxi for 100B each which took us to the party in about five minutes. Andy, who runs the place is really friendly and helpful. The huts were close to the beach and prices were great, we paid 500B a night for our room. It's a basic room, with a fan and a shower. They are well maintained. They have a nice spot on the beach with some nice swings and tables but the only problem is that there is a lot of seaweed around. Apart from that, it was great.
