Description
A relaxed and inexpensive family-run operation, Field Paradise has some of the best value digs on one of the loveliest stretches of Ban Tai beach. Their cheapest huts are very basic and worn, but they're solid and well-cleaned and they sit nearest the beach. They also have treetop huts, large family rooms and larger and newer bungalows that sit in a row behind the basic huts and offer more space and comfort; some even have air-con and DVD players. The Rasta Baby Sea Breeze Bar sits on stilts on the water's edge. With a pool table, mellow grooves and its bright yellow rasta theme, this is a cool place to hang out and enjoy the view with a variety of tasty tropical cocktails.

This place truely is paradise -
By chrislynch ( total comments: 1  More information please ) Stayed here 1/2008
I have just returned from a 3 week stay at Field Paradise, it is my 3rd visit to this resort as this is my favourite desination in the world for chilling out and forgeting the stresses of life. The reason i love it so much is that this family run resort truely take care of you in everyway possible. If you want to go to the parties, speak to Win or Nui and they will take you up in a taxi and make sure you get home safely whatever state you get yourself in. If you need anything at all speak to Nui and he will organise for you. Just remember that everything is slowly slowly, so if your somebody that wants everything now you won't get it and will only annoy him. If you treat the family and other guests with respect you will be treated as one of the family and that is a great feeling if you are travelling alone and so far from home. This place is for people that enjoy relaxing on the beautiful beach all day with very few people around and partying all night with other guests. Welldone guys

Liberty Bungalow
Ao Ban Tai, Ko Pha Ngan
Liberty has a very cool and tranquil vibe. The large concrete huts with metal roofs are scattered around a sandy palm grove amidst lots of shady tree cover. The rooms are spacious and solid but dark inside without much natural light. The relaxed restaurant off the beach has one of the coolest... more

Rung Arun Resort
Ao Baan Tai, Ko Pha Ngan
Rung Arun is a tranquil midrange setup. A handful of large concrete bungalows here sit on the beach along a sandy coconut grove, but most sit off the beach around a garden and pool. The sandy grove makes it feel like the beach is wider here than at most setups. Bungalows here cost quite a bit more... more

Dew Shore Bungalows
Ao Ban Tai, Ko Pha Ngan
A friendly family-run resort toward the centre of Ban Tai beach, this is a good midrange choice with some good cheapie huts as well. The oldest huts are the basic fan units, which are relatively inexpensive, considering this place has a pool. The newer air-con rooms are more comfortable but built... more

Pink's Bungalows
Ao Ban Tai, Ko Pha Ngan
Pink's bungalows are good-sized wooden structures that offer only basic lodging but are inexpensive and close to the beach. Available in doubles and triples, these bungalows are well-kept and solidly-built. They're clean inside and well-maintained. This is a low key spot and the staff is laid-back... more

Two Rocks Bungalows
Ao Ban Tai, Ko Pha Ngan
Two Rocks is one of the most laid-back setups on Ban Tai beach. The wooden bungalows here are positioned around a sandy palm grove just off the beach. Only one bungalow actually sits on the beach, but the rest are not far away. The cheapest fan huts here are very worn, but are passable and popular... more

Triangle Resort
64/6 Moo 2, Ao Ban Tai, Ko Pha Ngan
Triangle has a mixed bag of bungalow options scattered around a well-shaded sandy grove. The beach is not great here, little more than a narrow strip of sand during lower tides, and a retaining wall runs most of the length of this property. Their cheapest huts are small and sit at the back of the... more

Lifestyle Bungalow
Ao Ban Tai, Ko Pha Ngan
The most laid-back and quiet spot on Ban Tai beach and the cheapest, Lifestyle is a cool backpacker spot with a neo-island-hippy vibe. Very basic huts are available with private or shared bathrooms spread around the shady palm grove garden. The beach here is a little coarse, but there is plenty of... more

Phangan Beach Resort
112/1 Moo 1, Ao Ban Tai, Ko Pha Ngan
Phangan Beach Resort has some very handsome wooden bungalows and concrete duplexes set among a lovely landscaped garden and palm grove. Even the most basic rooms are spacious and comfortable and the better-equipped come with satellite TV and refrigerators, some sitting right on the beach. The... more
