Description
Morning Star is the classiest and most comfortable choice on Ban Kai -- a fine choice for midrange travellers and families. The spacious and handsomely designed wooden bungalows, some duplexes and others more private, surround the pool and central garden. The rooms are spotless and comfortable with air-con available -- a rarity in these parts. A couple of newer concrete units by the restaurant are still cosy but much less charming from the outside. The beach here on the west side of Ban Kai is wider and sandier than the rest, much better for sunbathing and swimming. Kayaks are available to rent as are motorbikes, and laundry, internet and travel assistance are provided by the friendly staff.
