Description
This is one of the new breed of super-luxury hotels on Samui, and the drawcard here is unfortunately just the pool rather than the rooms, which simply don't live up to the hype. The massive infinity-edge pool is excellently located, and suited to endless hours gazing at the horizon. The rooms, while certainly well-outfitted and decorated, don't really justify however the price tag they're asking. You might make it worthwhile by finding a good internet rate. The freestanding bungalows feel somewhat tube-like and cavernous, and the bathtub was just a tad too exposed for our liking. Wood-finished throughout, they are very nice. The grounds are pleasant, with rolling, well-manicured lawns and a lovely beachside setting. Certainly worth it if someone else is paying.
