What we say:

By Beach Resort is a typical backpacker-type establishment, located towards the Mae Nam end of Bang Po, a few hundred metres along a dirt track leading from the Ring Road -- turn left onto the dirt track immediately after the Santiburi Spa Resort (when coming from Nathon) - it leads to By Beach Resort. Bungalows are painted acid green with black balconies and window frames, or baby blue with white trim, and the beachfront restaurant is cerise pink. A chill-out room offers a computer terminal with WiFi access, a library and book exchange, bicycle hire, guitar and TV with pyramid cushions on the floor. The restaurant and beach bar offers cheap meals and drinks, and an oversized swing hangs from the coconut tree on the beach. Bungalows are simply furnished as one would expect, but are clean and relatively spacious. Each bungalow has a balcony with seating, and the more expensive ones offer air-con.
