Description
For the money, this is quite good value as the rooms are well-sized and there's a small pool with plentiful shade. The rooms are clean and well maintained, but as with many of the Bangrak places, traffic noise can be an irritant. Their cheapest rooms are on the other side of the beach road.

Como Resort
58 Moo 4 Big Buddha Bay, Ko Samui
This is a very friendly family-run operation with very clean and well-maintained bungalows accompanied by a laid back atmosphere. All are air-con with hot water and TV, except for the beachfront ones, which do not have TV. Rooms off the beach are a little on the dark side, but overall they're not... more
Chez Ban Ban
Big Buddha Beach, Ko Samui
This relaxed backpacker haven is good value and friendly, with clean well-placed mouve-coloured bungalows and a good restaurant. The gardens are also pleasant and overall it's a fine spot for a few days. The food here, a mix of Thai and French, is very... more
Beach House Samui Hotel
16/1 Moo 4 Big Buddha Beach, Ko Samui
This newish spot has two sections, comprised of a bunch of beachside rooms and a larger three-storey hotel on the other side of the road. The beachside rooms are quiet good value if you get one directly on the beach, otherwise you have no view at all. The hotel rooms are the better option here,... more
Secret Garden
22/1 Moo 4 Big Buddha Beach, Ko Samui
Secret Garden is very well known for it's Sunday afternoon parties featuring a mix of live music that can attract 150 in low season and up to 400 in high season. JJ and Vanessa run a good operation that gets a steady flow of return custom. They're planning on renovating some of the bungalows soon... more
Nara Garden Beach Resort
81 Moo 4 Big Buddha Beach, Ko Samui
Nara Garden is a large, family-orientated place and while the dark, rattan-finished rooms may not be the best looking on the beach, they are close to the biggest. There is also a moderate-sized pool with plenty of shade. On the downside, this is all behind a stunningly ugly retaining wall, though... more
Hiruburi Resort
51/1-2 Moo 4 Big Buddha Beach, Ko Samui
The bungalows here, set in two rows running down to the beach with a tatty garden in between are a tad overpriced, but they're immaculate inside, with comfy beds and well designed bathrooms. The closer you get to the beach, the higher the price gets and one row off the beach has about the best... more
